Sara Coppage Williams, age 88 passed on to Glory January 14, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her family. Visitation handled by Legacy Chapel Funeral Home, 16 Hughes Road, Madison, AL from noon to 2pm, Friday January 19th with services immediately following. Burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens, 6810 University Drive NW, Huntsville AL immediately following the services.
Sara was born in Dothan AL, survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Wiley E Williams, Daughter Teresa W Brammer and husband Peter N Brammer, all living in Madison AL. Sara is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Sally O’Connor of Rockledge FL, Ray Floyd III of Longville LA and Jeff (Cody) Floyd of Pitkin LA. Survived by her 8 great grandchildren; Brooklyn, Kari Beth, Jeffery, Trey, Hayley, Mayson, Arrow Grace and Dixie Lynn.
Sara is a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church as she had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior while living in Florida. She graduated 3rd in her class from Macon School of Nursing in 1950. She worked for various doctors during her many years of nursing, later working in the space industry where she handled the many animals traveling into space.
Pall Bearers are: Mike Williams, nephew, Peter Brammer, son in law; grandson Jeff Floyd and great grandsons Jeffery Floyd, Trey Floyd and Mayson Floyd.
