Juanita, a short term resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Madison, Alabama, passed from this world, on the 21st day of December, 2017, following a lengthy illness. Juanita was born on April 14, 1934 in Cache, Oklahoma, to Henry Clay Miller and Mary Minnie Lee Early Miller, one of fourteen (14) children. She grew up on the family farm, located northeast of Cache, Oklahoma, and attended Cache elementary, junior high, then two years of high school. She later earned her GED. She married Howard Wesley Money on September 1, 1951, in Cache, Oklahoma. Howard was in the U.S. Army and stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After his tour of duty, which included a tour in the Korean War, was complete, he worked for Paige Aircraft at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Paige Aircraft was transferred to Fort Rucker, Alabama, in 1954. The family moved to Alabama where they spent the rest of their married life. They were members of the White Oak United Methodist Church in Eufaula, Alabama, where their gravesites are located. Juanita and Howard are survived by four children, three sons, a daughter, eleven grand-children, and six great-grandchildren. They are: Wesley Charles Money of Decatur, Alabama; Richard Clay Money (Lynne) of Huntsville, Alabama; Jerry Howard Money (Kim) of Clearwater, Florida; and Penny Lee Carter (Darren) of Clayton, Alabama. Juanita and Howard had eleven grandchildren: Jesse Money and Lance Money, both of Wilmington, North Carolina; Jennifer Carmack (Adam), Benjamin Money, Rebecca Hurley (Robert) and Campbell Walsh, all of Huntsville, Alabama; Terri Money of Birmingham, Alabama; Kelli Whitehead (Tim) of Nashville, Tennessee; Amanda Carter Goins of Clayton, Alabama; Clifton Carter of Topeka, Kansas; Mason Carter (Lauren) of Eufaula, Alabama. Juanita and Howard had six great-grandchildren; Kaylee Goins, Jase Goins, Gage Carter, Eden Carter, Atticus Carmack and Henry Clay Hurley. She is also survived by one brother, Roy Miller (Linda) of Lawton, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mary Fort of Cache, Oklahoma, Betty Thaler of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Barbara Burk (Larry) of Lawton, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death, her husband, Howard Wesley Money; her parents, Henry and Minnie Miller; brothers and sister-in laws, Woodrow and Irma Miller, Herman and Katherine Wright, Jessie Miller, and one infant brother, unnamed, that died at birth; sisters and brother-in-laws, Margaret and Ed Drew, Katherine Chance (husbands: Forrest Chapman and Jake Chance), Lucille Clay (husbands: Ralph Northcutt and Robert (Bob) Clay), Mae and Johnny Schlachtun, and Neva and Harvey Horn, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial will be held at Eufaula, Alabama, at a date yet to be determined.
