William Rothwell

Msgt. Ret. William J. (Rocky) Rothwell born May 18th, 1943 in Dodgeville, WI died on Monday December 18th, 2017. He served 24 years in the United States Army. He retired from Northrop Grumman in 2009. He loved his wife and daughters more than anything. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a big fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and Alabama football. He also enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Syliva H. Rothwell; daughters Tina J. Betts, Zoila A. Frye, and Sherri L. Rothwell; son-in-laws John Betts and Eugene Frye, and Stefan Rothwell; eight grand-children, 18 great grand-children, and one great great grandchild; sisters and brothers Judy Hannon, Jack Rothwell ( Dianne ), Vicki Harrington (John), and Dennis Rothwell ( Mary ). He was proceeded in death by Cynthia M. Rothwell and Donald L. Betts. The Family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Oncology floor of Huntsville Hospital. There will be a private family service at a later date.
