Andrew Michael White, 46, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Andrew Michael White was born in Augsburg, Germany to John & Sue White while John was serving in the military in southern Germany. He lived in Lenexa, KS, Halstead, KS, and Phoenix, AZ before moving to the Huntsville, AL area in 1989. He attended college at Harding University in Searcy, AR, Calhoun Junior college in Decatur and the Pittsburg Art Institute while refining his gift of drawing and composing in various mediums. While never attending Alabama, he was a staunch supporter of the Crimson Tide. Andy was suddenly called to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017. While his passing saddens us, we are reminded of one of his comments when life events did not go as expected – “the fact that Jesus died for me means that he owes me nothing, God is good”. As an artist, Andy constantly reminded us of the beauty that he saw in people and the world we live in. He loved sports, but baseball was his passion, which grew as he played, and hit its pinnacle while coaching Little League baseball at the Monrovia Parks and Recreation complex. He knew the names of all the children that he coached and enjoyed watching them grow while teaching them life lessons along with baseball skills. Andy is survived by his two sons, Jacob Tucker White & wife, Laine, of Montevallo, AL and Cason Leo White of the home; his brother, John Gregory White & wife, Paula, of Aledo, TX; cousins Sierra & Ian White of Aledo, TX and his parents, John and Sue White of Madison.
