Melissa Jean Jackson Germann died Monday, September 18th after complications from a long-term illness. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul Germann, daughter Claire Germann Pitsis, grandsons Jacob and Drew Pitsis, mother Betty Jackson, brothers Larry (Melissa) Jackson, Dickie (Diane) Jackson, sisters Cindy (Mitchell) Amerson, and Leann Jackson, and nieces and nephews (Brigitte, Clint, Summer, Sally, Laura, Jordan, Jade, Seth, and Tassie). She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Jackson, and her beloved dog Tiny.Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, 5:00pm-7:00pm at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison Alabama. The Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:00pm at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Madison Memory Gardens.Pastor Kip McKee will be officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Kidney Fund.
