Mary Antoniette (Toni) Peche Ferrara passed away on August 6, 2017 in Madison, Alabama after a courageous battle with cancer. Toni was born in San Antonio, Texas and was the daughter of Michael and Dorothy Peche. She was proud to be the great, great, great granddaughter of Gregorio Esparza who fought in the battle of the Alamo. She was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School and attended Trinity University where she met her husband John Ferrara. Toni and John were married for 38 years. She was a great coach’s wife supporting her husband’s teams across the state of Texas year in and year out. Toni was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid sports fan who loved animals, collecting antiques and working outdoors on her properties at ConCan and Wimberly, Texas. Toni is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Dorothy Peche, husband John Ferrara and sister Dorothy Ann Greenway. She is survived by her sons Greg (Michelle) Ferrara, John Bret (Barbara) Ferrara, daughter Dana (Joel) Nabers, grandchildren John Nabers, Trey Nabers, Christina Rehfeld, Tara Ferrara, Evan Ferrara, J.R. Ferrara, Alex Ferrara and great granddaughter Carter Rehfeld.
