Shannon Damone McDuffie

53, of Madison, passed away Monday April 3, 2017 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN., with friends and loved ones by his side. He was born in Huntsville, Al. and was the son of Wanda Griggs, of Madison Al. and of the late William Shannon McDuffie (survived by Kathy McDuffie) of Mobile, Al. He is survived by his wife Sandra Choate McDuffie, his two daughters, Megan and Nicole. His family pet, “Dash”, his sister and best friend Rhonda McDuffie Pemberton (Rick Pemberton), his brothers, Stanley Griggs (Dima Griggs), Lance Griggs (Angie Griggs), his sister Danielle Strickland, Rodney and Ty Roberts, his step-sisters Terry Gene Griggs and Monica Griggs, his step-brother Steve Goff, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.In Lieu of flowers Damone would like for donations to be made to The Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance http://www.curefa.org/donateInterment will follow, after services, at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
