Donald Henry Ross

March 30, 1940-March 11, 2017 Donald H. Ross 76, of Madison, Al passed away Saturday. Born March 30, 1940 in Gaston County, North Carolina to Floyd P. and Thelma Ross. He was a retired Insurance Adjuster, an ordained Baptist Minister, Case Worker for Family Services of Gaston County, as well as auxiliary Police Officer in Gaston County, NC. He attended Belmont High School and graduated from University of North Alabama in 1970 and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996.  He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama for the past 9 years.  He married Doris Fowler on June 28, 1964 in Fayette, Al.  He enjoyed gun collecting. Pallbearers will be Jerry Fowler, Mike Traynham, Donnie Traynham, Clark Dobbs, David Dobbs and Ken Silvernail.Memorials may be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church.
