Teri Lewis

Teri Michelle (Harwell) Lewis, 51, passed away Thursday, August 11. Teri was a loving devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and loved Alabama football. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that would brighten your day. She enjoyed life to the fullest, often being the center of attention, and was self-proclaimed, “The Queen of Everything.” Teri held a BA from Athens State University and was a Senior Programming and Control Analyst – Master Scheduler for the Defense Department. Teri is survived by her husband Jim Lewis, daughter Paige Buchanan, son Gil Lewis (Traci), grandson Callen Lewis, father George Harwell (Sandra), mother JoAnn Marks (Gene), sister Tina Letson (Jeff), and brother Chris Gayle (Kathy). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury UMC or the Elephant Sanctuary of Hohenwald, Tennessee https://www.elephants.com/. Visitation will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 16th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with funeral services immediately following. Interment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
