Keith Kuhn, 61, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, October 15, 2016 after a six-year long battle with cancer. Keith was born on March 6, 1955 at Langley AFB in Virginia to Joseph A. and Waneida Matthews Kuhn. Keith was an Electronic Technician in the Army during the Vietnam War. Upon discharge, he continued his love of electronics while working at the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. While working, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Orleans. In 1994, he began working as an Electronics Engineer for the Army Space Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He worked in Missile Defense for the Department of Defense at Colorado Springs and at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama until he retired in 2014. Keith was an avid remote control airplane enthusiast who loved to build and fly. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and always helped others. He was a big kid himself, and loved exploring Disney World with his daughters and wife. Keith is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna M. Kuhn; his daughter Natalie Kuhn of Huntsville, Alabama; his daughter Samantha Kuhn-Roberson and son-in-law Joel Roberson of Madison, Alabama; and his mother Waneida Kuhn of Madison, Alabama.
