Donald Ray Ferguson Sr., 83, of Athens, Al. passed away Nov. 18, 2016. Donald is preceded in death by his father Era C. Ferguson, his mother Nellie M. Ferguson, and brother Carl C. Ferguson. Donald is survived by his wife Donalda Bena Valeria Bancroft Ferguson, son Donald R. Ferguson Jr. (Elisia), daughter Alice M. Carden (Rick), grandchildren Amanda Marie Carden, Amy Michelle Carden, and Joshua Ray Ferguson. Donald was an Sr. MSgt. Air Force Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. Visitation will be held from 9:00am-10:00am Wednesday Nov. 23, 2016 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:00am.
